The Bass Lake exit culvert needs replacing.  Water is running on both sides of the outside of the culvert.  The carp are able to enter Bass Lake in high water conditions.   A new culvert would include an improved carp guard and gate to control water and lake level.

DNR engineering, planning and permitting is required for this to proceed.  The DNR is aware of the problem and has met with county and lake owners to discuss a solution.
