Toxin Detection Assays

The toxin detection assay is a screening-level evaluation that tests for the presence or absence of toxins that can be produced by cyanobacteria (blue-green algae). This analysis involves use of a test strip and accompanying meter reader, following standard protocols from the manufacturer. Although these assays have estimated detection levels, results should be interpreted as qualitative in nature.
